My Name is Wolli and I am a member of the German "XJR-Tuning-Stammtisch Ruhrpott". My first Question is: do I have the possibility to change the Language of this Forum into English (or German) ??? It is very difficult for me to copy all russian words into the Online-translator.... and get it in my head to buit a sense of it :-[
I am very happy to see that you are Friends of the XJR and that this Bike takes its way around the World !!!
Since the Year 2004 when my Friends and I were in Czech Republic to join the Meeting of the XJR-friends every Year more XJR-Friends in Countrys all around Europe joined the "EUROFEST"-Meeting which is placed every Year in another Country (I hope you understand my bad English), so in 2008 the Meeting was near Paris with Friends from Great Britain, France, Netherlands, Italy, Lithuaniaand Poland....last Year (in Italy at the Garda Lake) a Group from Croatia joined the Meeting and this Year (20.June to 24. June) we meet in Holland!
I know its in about 4 weeks but if you like.....join us *drink* (If you like I can tell you more Details)

С 2004 года, когда мои друзья и я были в Чешской Республике присоединиться к Совещанию XJR-друзей каждым годом все больше XJR-друзей в загородных всей Европе вступил в "ЕвроФест"-совещания, которое находится каждый год в другой стране (я надеюсь, вы понимаете мой плохой английский), поэтому в 2008 году совещание было недалеко от Парижа с друзьями из Великобритании, Франции, Нидерландов, Италии, Польши Lithuaniaand .... в прошлом году (в Италии на озере Гарда) группа из Хорватии вступил в совещании и в этом году (20.June до 24. июня) мы встречаемся в Голландии! Я знаю его в течение 4 недель, но если вам нравится ..... присоединиться к нам (Если хотите, я могу сказать вам более подробную информацию) CUWolli

It's really pleasant to meet a fellow XJR-rider at this here internet-community.
Pitiful enough, the language can not be changed, as far as I know.
I've heard a lot about the Euro-fests in general and about all the XJR-clubs all over Europe in particular, seems like the XJR has an awful lot of fans all over the world :)
Seems like I won't make it to Holland this year - got too many buisness to take care of, but if any events pop up not too far - like Finland or Czech Republic again - just whistle *drink*

Есть мнение, что у них на фестах культура общения в гораздо выше, чем в этой стране.
Хотя есть ещё мнение - что культура на фестах в этой стране отсутствует вообще, и глядя на фотки ковра из бутылок и бухих вдрабадан тел на мотоциклах с какого-нибудь мотоярославца оно кажется очень верным.

Мысли мотоциклиста, уезжающего с немецкого (чешского, британского, итальянского - не суть важно) феста:
"как всё было здорово, как я хорошо отдохнул, пообщался с интересными людьми, получил кучу новых впечатлений, классно покатался, и я уже начинаю скучать по новым знакомым и друзьям, с которыми приходится расставаться до следующего феста...."

Там и культура езды на мотоцикле сильно выше :) Ехал из Инсбрука в Мюнхен через перевал. Все мотоциклисты в экипировке. Мотоциклы в отличном состоянии. Все вежливые и культурные. Ну и конечно шикарные виды :)

Wolli, do easier, invite eachother to you personally *drink*, or, may be, to some neutral territory, for examlpe to someone cottage in finland (it's not so expensive) or somewhere else, where a number of xjr-lovers can geather in relaxing condition and discuss about everything *bayan*

I don't know about Poland, i'd bever been there :) but in Russia, according to some forums topics, not so safety ...
About Vodka ... frankly I'm not a vodka-over ... much more I like beer (I had had an intension to visit october-fest with family this year, but available money makes negative some corretions in plans). In Finland saw their native vodka (named Suomi, Finlandia may be bought in Russia too) and it was 30% at all ... desire to buy it dissapeared at all ... sambuca is much better for me and tasty :)
About bike ...
How much such beauty costs in Germany? May be it's good idea to buy next XJR in your country? :) But Russian taxes on import are too big :(

I don't really understand what you mean, do you want to know how I lifted the Tail ? If you want to know why I did it, it is for better curving...the Front goes down (because of the Upsidedown Fork) and the Back gets high because the Dampers are 25 mm longer then serial!

...the pic was taken at Eurofest 2010 in Italy, Sirmione Lake Garda, we made a Convoy with police at the Top to the Harbour of Sirmione (normaly not allowed for Motorbikes). We have been perhaps 150 Bikes and the VMax was 5 km/H :D :D :D :D :D...so we had 30° Celsius therefor only Jeans and T-shirts 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
Normally we drive with full Protection, believe me ! I had an accident in 2009 on the Highway with 130km/h and would not be able to write this post if I had no secure clothes on.
